FREE Storybook from Shutterfly

Create a FREE 20 page 8x8 story book (value $29.99) with promo code PHOTOBOOKS at Shutterfly.com. You might be limited to twenty photos to get the offer. The offer expires March 10th. Enjoy!
Many of you are telling me this photobook is not working. Please note that Licensed premium photo books, Martha Stewart books, Creating Keepsakes books, Adventure books and leather and padded photo books are not included in this reward. Also try this link HERE to start. It frustrates me that this is not working because the email was sent to me (it was not a peronsal email, it was a group/mass email) so I know the promotion is running. My only other bit of advice, and this has worked in the past for me on numerous photo companies is to call Shutterfly, tell them you are trying to use the promo code and you are disappointed it is not working. Sometimes they just override it and it works. Sometimes they tell you why it is not working. Use this promo code at your own discretion.

Customer Service / York Photo Deal

I hate all the photo deals that go sour. I get annoyed when I post/email/or speak of a great photo deal only to find out that the code doesn't work, it can not be combined, it is for new customers only, etc.

I told you about this GREAT York phot deal Here. You get 50 prints for $1. When I entered the code L4ABUCK, it only took off $.60. It was supposed to take off something like $4. I was frustrated but ordered anyway because I had 20 free prints for signing up and needed photos for my baby's scrapbook. Today I got my prints in the mail (wow they are quick) and there was the code AGAIN on a certificate. I hunted down (I mean hunted-Google search and all) the phone number for York. The lady, a sweet lady named Donna, said she was refunding my order (shipping price, the extra prints I ordered in addition, tax and all) for my trouble. (I wasn't even requesting that - I was just calling confused about the code.)

There is a glitch with the code, it works when NEW customers order because they get 20 FREE prints, the other 30 prints combined with your order make all 50 prints for $1. Their mistake is they sent the code out to EXISTING customers.

Moral of the post, it really does help to take time to get quality customer service (I did this all while still getting things done around the house - I was cleaning my kitchen while talking to her.) There is always time to check an order, ask questions, etc. Be sweet, be kind, and explain clearly your problem. Good luck!

PS York's phone number is 301-595-5300 (that way you don't have to do an extensive internet search.)
PPS The photo quality was great!

Arts Cow

I don't know what took me so long to tell you guys about this website!!!!! ArtsCow is a photo website (like snapfish, photoworks, etc.) Just by signing up you get SOOO many FREE things. Coasters, books, prints, calendars, card decks, a watch, a jewerly bag, etc. I am not kidding. You are covered with photo gifts for at least a year! Use the code FREE10BKS to get 10 FREE 20 page photobooks. (Creat an account, sign in, go to my account, go to credit & discount and enter the code.) I truly don't know how they make any money.

Photo Deals

There are two great photo deals out there right now. Both deals are on orders of 50 photos. This is exciting for me as I am working on my daugthers scrapbook and appreciate cheap photos!

York photo has 50 photos for $1. After shipping/tax, your total is around $4.50 (around $.08 a photo.) Use the coupon code L4ABUCK. PS if you have not registered yet, you get an additional 30 prints. That is a pretty amazing deal! I do not have an expiration date, but I would hurry-THIS CODE DOES NOT WORK. DO THE WALGREENS ORDER.

Walgreens has 50 photos for $5 right now. That equates to $.10 a photo. This deal does not require you to pay shipping if you have a Walgreens in your area. Use the coupon code JAN50. This expires January 31.

Is anyone tired of photo codes not working???

Shutterfly also has a great offer.
Get a Free Calendar Poster - use coupon code CALENDAR12. With these calendars you can begin on any month, and can include personalized dates like birthdays and anniversaries. A $19.99 value. Offer ends January 12, 2009. Shipping is $4.95
Thanks, Ashley!

Photo Works - FREE Personalize Photo Clutch Book

Okay, I know you guys have seen it over and over....free photo book but it was so quick and easy (maybe because my photos are all already uploaded to their site.)

Here is one more opportunity. Use the coupon code GIFT4YOU (I used this one) or BOOKGIFT at Photoworks.com. (Offer expires 1/15/09)

I have been a BIG fan of photoworks for a couple years now. If you saw my daugther's birth annoucement, they are $2.40 (?) per card and I got them for $50 (all 100 of them!)

Photoworks HAD (I think it is gone now) a monthly photo contest. Sal and I won with some Greece, pregnancy, and baby photos. The gift cards we won (some worth $100, some worth $50) continue to pay for our orders today.

It is a bit more expensive than the rest (Kodak, Snapfish, etc) but if those photo contests come back, you might find yourself with a new Cannon camera (yes they had those) or with not paying for photos again (at least for awhile.)

Two days ago on the phone I POLITELY told them I would not use them again or recommend them...guess that wasn't true. I was just upset about my lost Christmas photos.
