Wal-Mart Deals 3/15 - 3/21

Well you all know my dilemma with Wal-Mart. While it holds some great low prices and roll backs, the inconsistency of the national sales makes it hard for me to post deals while reaching the masses. Angela, a fellow reader, had a great idea. I am going to allow you all to post some deals below by adding a comment. If you know of a great sale in your area, please leave your state (even city - because sales can vary even by stores on the same street!) the deal and the coupon you used.
.
This allows you, as readers, to give back!
.
So while I will not be creating a Wal-Mart list each week, you, the readers, will! Great idea, Angela!

I really looked forward to seeing the weekly wal-mart sales, I think you should continue posting the sales because it was not that much difference in the price and that person does not have to purchase the item if they don't want it.

I agree with lilah.

Thanks for suggesting people post in with their locations and local deals. The deals are never the same for me. Just for example, with the Ken's dressing last week, was reported as 1.87 all over the web, got to my WM and it was 2.24. Still a great coupon, but not the same deal. I held on to it until this week and we have a local sale at a different store 2/4. So, finally a freebie for me, but not the week b/f at WM.

It's crazy how different they are!

I worked at WM for one summer during college and they had people in the back talking to people who were walking up and down aisles at other, smaller stores, making note of sales at the smaller stores and lowering the WM prices. They would actually post it with a clipping from the other store advertising how it was lower-priced. It's no wonder they put so many smaller stores out of business!

Just FYI... Some of the prices are drastically different. I went to WalMart in Texas to get the Purina and Gillette products - Freebies in Florida with the 3.50 and 2.00 coupons - they would have cost me 3.00 and 2.00 after using the coupons!!! I like the idea of users posting deals. Here is my deal - I used the Johnson $1 off 1, $2 off 2 and $3 off 3 to get 6 Buddies Soap for free and had $0.18 off the rest as they were only $0.97 each at my WalMart in Houston!

Also everyone has been talking about the johnson & johnson soap buddies...i went to my walmart in the midwest and they were $2.88 just for one not the 99 cents people were saying they usually are!

I would have to agree with lilah and Shell...the prices were different for me @ my local WM as well, but I still REALLY appreciated the post...it made me aware of the possibility of these deals even if the prices were slightly different. For example, the glucose monitors were $13.94 as you stated but the Alpo was $3.62 instead of $3.52...a $.10 difference...not a big deal, but if you had not posted, I would have never thought to look @ WM. I would have just waited for it to go on sale. So, thank you and PLEASE continue your WM post!!! :)

i think that this is a great solution. there is no reason for you to put your hard work into something that will vary so much from city to city. the deals you post are already plenty! thanks for providing them!

I am a little disappointed. I tried using a coupon I printed on-line and my local Wal-mart will not accept them. I guess I will be going to Target all the time now!

Oravets - check out Walmart's coupon policy here:

Print it out an take a copy of it with you the next time you shop at Walmart.

oravets, our wal mart does not accept computer printed coupons either. but a friend of mine discovered that you can usually get away with it in the self checkout line. it is worth a try for me when i have a really good deal that i want to try.
