I often find that if you buy the store brand, you still save money over the name brand product even with coupon. In your article you talk about saving money based on coupons used, but are you really saving money by buying the name brand products? I think I'd spend more money using coupons instead of shopping for generic name products.

I get a lot of name brand prodcuts for well below the store brand price...if this is not the case, then I buy store brand...honestly this is not often.

I do this Marie buy combining the name brand products with a sale, coupon, and if I can, store coupon too.
